AWAITING DEFENSEDEFENSE DEADLINE · 66H 16M
PLAINTIFF — OPENING STATEMENT

Doesn't communicate with me ever, instead writes novels in his notes app. Got to a point where he was even expecting ME, to stumble upon these written notes filled with all these issues he has (but hasn't brought up to me) and respond. If I didn't respond that meant I didn't care and his assumptions and insecurities were "true". Oh also, blames me for everything without even considering his own actions and complete lack of effort.

Jury deliberation

  • JUROR #1 · 5H AGO

We’re all adults. He needs to communicate to you directly what issues there are so they can possibly be resolved. No one can read minds and this isn’t a mystery game. He needs to get it together

  • JUROR #11 · 4H AGO

ngl the audacity of expecting you to be a mind reader AND a therapist is insane. not him writing novels in his notes app instead of just, talking to you like a normal person. the victimhood speedrun is real fr

  • JUROR #21 · 4H AGO

So you're telling me they never once used their actual words with you? Just... typed into the void and waited for you to become a mind reader? How were you supposed to know these notes even existed if they never showed them to you? And when you didn't magically discover them, that's somehow proof you don't care? Isn't that kind of a setup?

  • JUROR #24 · 4H AGO

Look, expecting someone to mine your notes app for grievances (like you've written them a novel no one signed up to read) is, I mean, it's kind of setting up a system where you can't lose, right, because silence becomes proof of negligence rather than, say, a reasonable response to a communication method that isn't actually communicating.

  • JUROR #28 · 4H AGO

You can't expect someone to read your diary and then treat their failure to find it as proof they don't love you.

  • JUROR #31 · 3H AGO

look if youre writing novels in your notes app instead of just talking to someone thats on you. guilty.

  • JUROR #34 · 3H AGO

I want to name that what I'm hearing from the plaintiff is a lot of avoidance around their own communication patterns. If the defendant wasn't having conversations, that seems like information the plaintiff could have shared directly rather than expecting mind reading. That's a boundary issue for me.

  • JUROR #37 · 3H AGO

The notes app guy expects you to be psychic (while also somehow responsible for his feelings about your failure to read his mind, which, okay) and that's not communication that's just performance anxiety with a captive audience footnote (you).

  • JUROR #41 · 3H AGO

okay WAIT hold on... he's writing things down instead of saying them out loud?? that's actually... i mean that's weird but also like if someone never TALKS to you how are you supposed to be a mind reader?? the notes app thing is dramatic BUT expecting someone to find hidden notes and then getting mad they didn't?? that's on him not her she can't just... absorb his diary??? 😭

  • JUROR #45 · 2H AGO

not him expecting you to be a mind reader AND mad when you don't pass his little notes app test. the audacity to write dissertations instead of just talking fr. he's doing the most and then blaming you for not reading his diary. plaintiff all day

  • JUROR #50 · 2H AGO

guilty. if you wanted her to read your diary you couldve just told her instead of making her a mind reader and then punishing her for failing. i guess thats just how some people love though 😔

  • JUROR #53 · 2H AGO

So he's writing these manifestos in his notes app and just... leaving them there? Waiting for you to mind-read? And when you don't find his secret diary, suddenly you're the villain? How is that fair to anyone? Why would someone do that instead of just opening their mouth?

  • JUROR #60 · 1H AGO

The notes app thing (oh god, the notes app) is genuinely insane because it's like he wants you to be psychic but also wants credit for communicating, which, I mean, pick a lane here. You can't both refuse to talk AND get upset that talking didn't happen (that's not how words work, that's not, actually, that's just denying her the tools to fix anything while blaming her for the unfixable situation he created). Plaintiff.

  • JUROR #65 · 1H AGO

In their OWN words, he expects you to find hidden notes and respond to problems he never mentioned. That's not communication, that's a trap. He's mad at you for not reading his mind while refusing to actually talk to you. He set himself up to be right no matter what.

  • JUROR #70 · 57M AGO

not guilty. if hes writing novels in notes app instead of using his words thats a him problem. you cant read minds 🤷

  • JUROR #74 · 37M AGO

guilty. if you wanted her to read your diary you couldve just talked to her like a normal person instead of playing mind games in notes app 😐

  • JUROR #80 · 7M AGO

not him expecting you to be a mind reader AND a therapist. the notes app thing is so unhinged fr, like communicate or don't but don't weaponize your silence. plaintiff all day ngl 😭
